buff food and pots

Post  Talities on Sun Jun 22, 2008 6:37 pm

Guys raid leaders will check if you are using pots and buff food for raids since this is needed.. If you aren't bringing pots or buff food for raids I'll tank in DPS gear.. or naked even, I know moknar support me on this.. Buff food and pots is as important for a raid as having the right classes for certain fights.

I totaly agree with Talities here. As it said before, we've seen people with T5 or T6 wiping in Kara on certain fights or even on trash, having high level gear doesnt make us invunerable, therefore people with lower gear should focus on having the right pots and buff foods on, otherwise, as simple as this, you'll be replaced in the raid!

If you still have doubts on what buff foods or pots you should use, please go to your class section in the forum and check the guide's Eanon posted, as they clearly state which enhancements are best to be used according to your class and spec.

The raid leaders will be making buffs checks from now on, in order to see who is fully buffed, thus showing interest in being in the raid. Those who do not comply with these, pardon me for saying this, demands, simply won't be raiding. You must start realising that, if you want to raid, you must know that it's not a place to joke. Ok we can have fun in a raid, most of us do, but we do it the right way >> buffed, geared and focused on what we're doing.

Another word concerning this issue: If you want to get into Kara, you have to get pre-gear for it, and altough i'm not a raid leader, i'm not accepting people who simply don't wanna do instances to get gear. Today i offered a boost to 2 random low geared people on an heroic, with 3 better geared running with you. This was a simple and very good oportunity for you to show that you are interested in getting blue gear for pre-kara. So if you truly are interested in getting into kara and onward to more dificult challenges as the 25 man raids, you must start to move.

Making instances, even on normal mode, is not all about loosing time because "oh it doesnt drop anything good there for me". It's mainly about you learning how to enhance your skills, and get to know your class a lot better, what you should do to improve so when the raids come, you are prepared for it. This means you having the rights skills, right talent spec and all these tiny yet important details.

Another detail, there's a huge diference between PvE and PvP. Talent spec's are very diferent. For raiding, you need to have a full PvE spec and let of those certain talent points that are simply useless for raiding. Ok, re-spec is expensive, but look, i re-spec my druid 1 or 2 times a week, one for PvP, other for PvE. If you to much of a slacker to farm money for re-spec, then stick to one spec and either do PvP or PvE, cause we're not putting people in raids in PvP spec, period, nor will the PvP leaders accept PvE specs.

So, if you are become a raider, start making efforts to do it, and don't depend only on Raids to get you geared, prove yourself and the guild that you want to be the best Wink

Please post a reply for us to know that you have read and understood what was said here, so no more questions concerning this can be brought up!!

exactly what I have wrote in earlier posts - people need to understand this...

People shouldn't have too may questions now tbh... what you need for raids and minimums are all here - its depressing that people with 400 DPS feel they are ready for Kara - my priest had more than that when it first hit 70
