Here are a few addons that you should have with you, they are indeed extremly useful and needed 
Group Calendar v4.0 - This is the first tool that you really must have. It's extremly easy to use, and allows us to set dates and plan raids, and people can directly apply in-game just by clicking it. It requires some time to update all the data from the events there (usually 5-30min) but it's the easiest way to let everyone know you want to join.
Omen >> This addon is updated several times a day, so be sure to have the latest version, best thing is to download it 15 minutes before the raid, it's the best tool to control your threat so you'r not exciding the Tank's threat anytime
